Choose any of the services on the left and see if they are accurate. They tend to get more complicated towards the bottom of the list.

When checking for the weather for training, we would look for 10mph or less on the national tv forecasts, which usually equates to 15+ on the hills, the maximum we can train in. We don't tend to go out if its going to rain... we're like that! Other forecasts we check on the day we go out are Airmet Scotland 0839 500 691 and Weathercall Lothians 0839 500422, these cost the earth though.

If it looks flyable you can call us on our mobile.... 07050 353547. We can tell you where we are and what is happening (web cam to follow). Please don't call the mobile for information packs, we won't have a pen to hand and may well be talking a student through their first flight!
