Two Line Stunt Kites
Our two line kite range can be divided into two sections - Stunt and
Traction. Stunt kites usually have a carbon fibre frame that can be quickly
assembled or disassembled (usually about a minute) to make transportation
of the kite easier, and you can do lots of neat tricks with them. They
are generally Delta shaped. Traction kites also have a carbon fibre frame,
but it's generally a simple rod that supports the leading edge of the
kite. They don't have the same delicate control as stunt kites, and can
be used for kite buggying.
Flexifoil Stunt
Kites
Flexifoil is one of the best known brands in kiting, and are made in
the UK as well. They also offer a free repair
service for the first month you own you kite - probably the time you'll
need them most. We stock a few of their kites (and can always order any
others).

Flexifoil Xtro
A good all round kite, because it
gives beginners time to think about what the kite is doing, but
it will still keep experienced flyers interested. It has a wingspan
of 135cm, lines are included and it works in winds of 4 - 30 mph.
The price is £34.95

Flexifoil Erazor
Next in the Flexifoil range is the
Erazor, a slightly larger kite with a 183cm wingspan. This is a
powerful kite, but is designed for silent flight. Lines are not
included for the price of £59.90 but we will include a suitable
set, with strap- handles as well, for £69.90. It has a slightly
higher spin rate than the Xtro so it's probably better to have this
as your second stunt kite.

Flexifoil Psycho
The Psycho is the next in the range,
and has a 2 m wingspan. It's designed to make tricks easier at higher
wind speeds, and is a fast turner, so it's best for experienced
kite nutters. The Psycho costs £79.90, not including lines. However,
the price does include an 18 minute video of the kite doing some
pretty mental stuff - to see the control these guys have is pretty
amazing. For £89.95, we will include a set of suitable lines and
handles.

Flexifoil Stranger
Next in the Flexifoil
family is the Stranger. This has a wing span of 250cm, so it is
quite a bit bigger than the Psycho. It’s designed to do lots and
lots of tricks, and recover to a normal attitude if you let the
lines go slack. The Stranger is for use in lighter winds than the
Psycho, and is for experienced fliers. It has a reputation for being
the world’s first trick kite, and costs £89.95. This price includes
a video showing the kite in flight, but doesn’t include lines and
handles. We’ll include suitable lines and lightweight straps for
£105.95

Tricky Flickery
Video
To show what can be done with their
stunt kites, Flexifoil have made this video. It uses a split picture,
so one half shows how to wave your arms about, and the other half
shows the kite and the resulting movement. It's 28 minutes long,
and it shows tricks you'll have trouble getting your head around.
Using the slomo button will help though, and it's pretty funny as
well. It sells for just £12.95 and will help you get the most out
of your kite.

Citybird
The Citybird is slightly
larger than the Bistro, at 145cm, has fibreglass spars and is
suitable for kids of all ages over 10. The lines are included
and are 60kg, again on plastic winders, and the Citybird is flyable
